AIHR celebrated its 30th Year in Texas during the AIHR Annual Open House!
When: April 26th Sunday from 2-5pm
Where: Registry Headquarters Rancho San Francisco, 9028 State Park Road, Lockhart Texas
The AIHR 30-in-Texas Open House went off without a hitch with near perfect weather and a wonderful gathering of friends, members and well wishers who shared tales of Indian Horses, friendship, great food (yum) and the critters of Rancho San Francisco (who all love visitors.)
The AIHR museum was open, the AIHR dvd was made available for viewing, and there were kids painting horses. One young lady who thought she was going to paint a horse picture was delighted to learn that the horse himself was her canvas – and that seemed to be the general consensus of the young people gathered around the two patient horses, Easy Tequila (M) and Jericho Myle (A), both AIHR National Champions and Supreme Hall of Fame Horses. The other horse guests of honor were Fernando (O), Heyoka (O), The Sundance Kid (O), and Reflections Angel (O), all AIHR champions.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who helped, from the setting up to the taking down. We could not have done it without your cheerful help and we appreciate each and every one of you more than we can say. Wolakota to you all.
AIHR and HOA National Show
The next National Show will be held on September 24th, – 26th, 2010 at the Marshall Arena in Marshall, TX. We hope to see you there.
Last year’s National Show was a success! This show was dedicated to Nanci Falley, the president of AIHR since 1979. It was pure pleasure to see complete surprise and joy on Nanci’s face when presented a portrait of herself and Manolito. Everyone enjoyed showing and seeing AIHR/HOA horses at their best. Additional pictures covering the show will be posted soon. So please check back with us.
