2008 American Indian Horse and Horse of America Registeries 27th National Show
Join us for our National Horse Show at the Rusk County Youth Expo Center in Henderson, Texas on September 19th, 20th & 21st, judges; Nanci Falley, Leana Westergaard, Elizabeth Austin, and Gretchen Patterson.
National Show Packets will be available by July 1, 2008. Email Tomlyn Grey at russianbluecat@yahoo.com or Curtis George at brotherugg@yahoo.com to request packets.
Blanket Show Fees Per Horse:
$20 - Halter, Color Only, & Green Pleasure Only
$60 -All performance, halter & color
($10 discount if showing in halter, color, and performance when mailing entry early)
Stalls- $15 per stall for 1st night and $10 per stall each additional night
shavings-available at show barn

A show rules and regulations sheet is provided with show packets, will be posted around stall area, and is also available at entry desk. Show rules are in place for the safety of all contestants, for fairness and equality to all entrants, and to hlep with needed time constraints of the show. Please be sure that you have a copy of the R&R, and understand them as stated. Show officials will answer any questions that you may have regarding these rules.
"All Horses and Ponies must be registered with AIHR to participate in this show and with HOA to be eligible for HOA awards. Horses can be registered prior to or during the show and will then be able to compete.
AIHR & HOA Class Schedule
NOTE: Classes will close 30 minutes prior to each section of the show. Any performance class with less than three entries may be combined with the next class or may be cancelled,and enty fees where applicable will be refunded. Riders six and under in Papoose Classes MAY be on lead line accompanied by an adult on foot.
Friday, SEPT. 19th 6pm non point Classes
In order to compete in Friday events you must be pre-registered as registration may not be opened in time to sign up for these 4 classes! * Indicates a Non-Point Class
1) Youth Indian Horsemanship: Entrants to be Papoose or Youth; ages to 12 years; Walk, trot, extended trot. Rail work, then individual simple pattern. Pattern will be posted.
2) *Green Pleasure (Ages 13 & Over) Walk, trot, extended trot & lope (Only horses under saddle 1 year or less. Must not have been shown in this class in any other National Show)
3) *Gaited Pleasure
4) *Trail of Tears (Bareback Pleasure----Ages 13 & Over) Walk, trot, lope & hand gallop).
This is a Jackpot Class--additional $5 entry fee required.
Saturday, September 20th- 10:00 a.m. - Classes start following Opening Ceremonies (Approx. 11:00 a.m.)
